Here’s an inexpensive way to lose a little bit more weight on your diet. Try drinking 2 cups of water before lunch and supper.

New studies show that people on a low-fat healthy diet paired with exercise tend to lose a few pounds more if they drink 2 cups of water before a meal. And if you are hungry before bed, try drinking water rather than eating something. Many people will eat when they are actually thirsty.

This is a great way to lose a few more pounds. There is no harm in drinking water and no side effects from drinking water. And water has zero calories.

Water tends to make you feel full and makes your stomach expand. Therefore, you actually want less food. Your stomach says I am already partially full, I don’t need as much food at this meal.

Dr. Nancy Snyderman said if you drink 2 glasses of water before a meal, you will consume 75 to 90 fewer calories at that meal.

I have tried this method and you really do eat less food. The water makes your stomach feel bloated and you can’t eat as much at a meal. And that’s what we all want! Less food = less weight.

So if you are trying to lose weight, try drinking water before meals to have an even more successful weight loss.
